If its raining it must be England in June...

Let's hope the rain fizzles out shortly as:

Sherwood Art Week is coming!

and

Sherwood Festival is hot on it's heels!


Sherwood Art Week
Running from 19th to 26th June and taking place in Sherwood, a suburb of Nottingham.

There will be:

13 exhibition spaces (yes 13!)
art in shop windows
a craft fair
a week of workshops for adults and children
several talks
a host of bands
a harp orchestra!

So all in all, loads of art on display and a plethora of family friendly workshops taking place, so check out their blog to get the full details (times and booking info):


I'll have some paintings on display at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre as well as some in the window of Laurie's Greengrocers and my own front window. I'll also have some prints and drawings to sell at the craft market which is on Saturday 19 June at the United Reformed Church (11am to 6pm).

So come along and check it out.

Sherwood Festival
Taking place on Saturday 26 June at Woodthorpe Park in Sherwood - it runs from 12 to 8pm.

There will be:

Local bands
Stalls
Hot food
Art

and admission is free!
